The event was done by Real Gold in some odd cavernous old railway thing under London Bridge. The place smelled of must and damp and there was moss growing on the walls. Totally my kind of place. Lots of hiding holes to serrupticiously smoke and make out. Team Megamix and Sh*****g Fists Dj’d and by a certain point in the evening, everyone was trying to pick each other up (literally), two girls were having a fake fight on the floor. and my friend Rocky was told off by the bouncers for performing an impromptu complicated dance routine with a chair which injured a couple of people. Don’t actually really remember Dead Kids playing, but i do remember that the singer was wearing some kind of lycra skin tight top, which was…….interesting.
And on to tonight, the Nike Klaww party. All the Spin girls are going ,so, I fear it will be the messiest of the week.
So, it has been a busy party week for me this week, and it is only Thursday! On Tuesday it was the launch of the new Uniqlo store on Oxford Street. All the usual gossip column regulars were there; Daisy Lowe, Jodie Harsh, Alexa Chung etc etc. My friend Florence sang (although you could hardly hear her over the cries of excited gay boys). The signature cocktails was, i think, supposed to be vodka and mandarin, however, I didn’t encounter much mandarin in mine. Pretty gross really, but all the same i had two. Add that to the swigs of champagne I was nicking from my more fortunate friends who got there before it ran out, and i was a pretty happy girl! Even through the scrum of people and haze of alcohol, I managed to spot a guy wearing a Makin Jan Ma sweater just before i left, which i think was far far superior to those other Japanese designers Uniqlo.
